This is the radar of protests and demonstrations in mainland Portugal, Madeira and the Azores. It shows where and when people are on the streets fighting for a decent life, so you can be there too.
WHOSE SIDE WE’RE ON
On the side of those who can no longer pay the rent. Of those who work hard and reach the end of the month with nothing. Of the women who carry the care of the home and of others while nobody counts those hours. Of the villages watching their land traded for a mine. Of those who came from far away looking for a better life.
We are on the left and we don’t pretend otherwise. This Government keeps choosing the profit of a few over the lives of many. We won’t keep quiet.
WHAT FOR
A protest only has power if people show up. So we gather here the marches, rallies, encampments and strikes that are coming up, with the day, the time and the place. When a protest is over, it leaves the map. We care about the next one.
PUBLIC, FOR EVERYONE
It’s free, with no ads and nothing to sell. We don’t track you or keep your data. It’s a public service, made by people who believe the streets belong to everyone.
MANY STRUGGLES,
ONE STREET
Fighting for a home, for a fair wage, for the climate, against racism, for equality between women and men: deep down it’s all the same demand, the right to live well, us and the planet. We are different, and it’s when we come together that we get stronger.
WHAT WE DON’T LIST
Protests by right-wing and far-right parties or movements, by those who put profit above people, by those who attack nature or the rights of those who live here and those who arrive.
WE’RE HERE TO STAY
As long as there is a square occupied for a just cause, this radar will be there.
